Welcome to Summer's Asylum for Adolescents. Here we house several hundreds of children from the ages of fourteen up until they are twenty one. Here at Summer's Asylum there is a dedicated program in play that will in effect help for a child or young adult to overcome whatever illness or disorder they may have. Working with young people who may have, disorders, mental illnesses, depression, anti social behavious or even helping them through an addiction. This is a highly qualified center dedicated to helping your troubled adolescents.

At least this is what they say in the brochure.
But what really goes on behind the heavy metal doors of this old asylum.

1. This is a realistic RP. Please act like it. No one has cat ears, No Mary Sues, and Don't shoot fire balls at people. Sex, Drugs, Alcohol, and shit happens. PLUS, try to be realistic when it comes to play-by. If your character looks 40 but is really 17, that does not work. Try to keep it real...

2.No God-moding or PowerPlaying. If your character gets into a fight, he/she gets hit. You do not control the other person's character either.

BAD Example: "Bob threw a punch at Paul, hitting him square in the nose. He watches as the others' nose bled, and then pushed him to the floor, before walking away."

That, is called God Moding... And it is a no-no.

Good Exemple: "Bob clenched his teeth, his nails digging into the skin of his palm, and he launched his closed wrist forward, aiming for Pauls nose, hoping to hurt him."

Then person you rp with will decided if they want to get hit or not..... And if you fight, you are MOST LIKELY to get hurt, even the toughest of us all get hit.

3.No Mary-Sues please. No one is perfect. No Gary Stue either.

4.Sex is allowed in this rp. Players that do have sex (oral counts as well) please put a warning in the title. Other people who don't like sex or are too young to handle it..please don't read the posts and then come complaing to an admin. Also, try to keep it to a certain level...

5.If you are going to kill or rape a character please get the owner's permission.

6.We all understand that no one is perfect with Grammar or Spelling but please try to do as best as you can. Do not chat speak either in character. Out of Character..no one really cares.

7.As of april 26th, there is a new rule about posts lenght. The MINIMUM IS NOW 400 WORDS A POST. It is really frustrating when you work on a good, meaty post, and get a 50 words reply back... No one likes it. Describe. Ramble. Whatever. How are they dressed?! How are they feeling? Why are they feeling this or that way? Just... Be creative, and ramble when needed!

8.Your characters do NOT have to like eachother. They can fight as much as they want but do NOT disrespect eachother out of character. Don't message them screaming because they called your character a sleeper or bitch. They WILL contact a admin and you will get spoken to.

9. Once again, this is a realistic RP. There will be people talking wrong about Genders, Religions, and Races. Please do not message an admin saying"That person called my character a N***** and it offended me"You will get a message back asking if it was in IC or OOC. If it is OCC, It will be dealt with if it is IC...Don't even bother answering back.

10. People get pregnant every day in real life. You have sex without any kind of birth control and we find out, we will message you informing you if you are pregnant. Yes...we are the stork. Don't want a baby Character? Either keep the snake in the cage or rubber up. The only way this will not happen is if you actually want to get pregnant in the RP, then we don't care. Just make sure you put somewhere you want to get pregnant.

11. You get Three Warnings before you get deleted off the site. You break three rules you're gone.

12. I Don't care how many characters you have, just have them on seperate accounts please. It gets confusing when you have two characters on a account and rping with 5 different other people. No one knows which!
Please could we stick to the two girls followed by a guy rule. Otherwise the board will become overrun by girls and we won't have any guys! PLUS, not every guy is gay....

13.Due to basing the rp on reality we ask that all your characters will have 'real' people as their face claims. No anime or manga.

14.This is one of the most important rules. PLEASE be Active.
